Freshers Stargazing

Freshers Stargazing

On Thursday 19th September 2019 we have our first stargazing event of the academic year! We will have many telescopes through which you can view the universe and a talk for everyone from Professor Moria Jardine entitled “Blowing hot and cold: slingshot prominences around young suns”. You will also have the chance to tour the James Gregory Telescope, the largest optical telescope in Scotland!

On top of all of this, we will be hosting a fun quiz and a short EGM to elect a Freshers Rep and a Baking Rep! With unlimited free hot chocolate for members (just £1 for non members) we think Freshers Stargazing is the perfect way to cap of the start of your year!
