The Worlds Largest Spectrum!

During Freshers Week we hosted our annual BBQ at the observatory with tours of the Napier Building and the James Gregory Telescope! Along with Shine, artist Tim Fitzpatrick and the School of Physics and Astronomy we attempted to create the largest neon spectrum in the world! With the help of around 100 volunteers and many strips of fabric, we made a spectrum 100m long and 10m wide!
